Shammas.  Abraham is part of the Laser Eye Center, which has offices in many locations including Pasadena. Dr. Shammas is the president of the Laser Eye Center and has had a brilliant career and has received multiple awards for his excellence in the industry, including the Quality of Vision Award for his quality work in the field.

Dr. Shammas received his Bachelor’s degree and his Doctor of Medicine at the American University in Lebanon and then went on to complete his fellowship in Glaucoma here in the United States at the University of Southern California.  He also is affiliated with the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

The specialties of Dr. Shammas include refractive surgery and Glaucoma.

He then did his medical internship at Wellesley Hospital in Toronto, Canada (1990-1991) His ophthalmology residency was done at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver (1991-1994).

Steven has done several ophthalmology fellowships including Glaucoma at the University of Illinois, Oculoplastics at the University of British Columbia, Medical Retina at the University of British Columbia, and Refractive Surgery at the University of Southern California.
